Player profile & competitive context
David Gala’s arrival in Mexico’s verified league match log coincides with the Waves’ championship run. Paired with Maximiliano Arce in Los Angeles, he helped turn a split-set final against Florida into a 10–2 deciding match tiebreak win. The pair then went unbeaten through Playa del Carmen and defeated Miami 6–4, 7–6 in the final. All six reviewed PPL appearances for Gala were wins, a clearly bounded subset rather than an assumed complete season record.
The Madrid-born player also won São Paulo Gold with Arce on the international circuit, recorded separately in his FIP tournament breakdown. His federation profile lists the left side, a February 2006 birth date and coaches Maxi Grabiel and Juan Manuel Restivo. Premier Padel’s 2026 table gives him 12 wins and 17 losses from 29 matches. The contrast in samples shows why league titles, FIP Tour titles and Premier Padel totals each need their own labels.
