DC Matrix

2026 SeasonUpdated 2026-10-08

DC Matrix carries the former Arkansas Matrix franchise into Washington, DC with titles in both main PPL divisions in 2026. Iñigo Jofre Manzanares and Alex Arroyo won the men’s event in New York; Marina Guinart Espana and Araceli Martinez Ibanez followed with the women’s title in Los Angeles. The 12-player roster includes nine main-league players and three in PPL II.

A new city and titles on both sides of the roster

The Matrix’s move from Arkansas to Washington, DC added a new chapter to an existing franchise. The team kept its Matrix identity as it began representing the capital, carrying its earlier history into a different home market. Source ↗

DC Matrix’s PPL II entries are verified through the league’s competition filter. Their results belong to a separate development draw.

Current names and roles are not publicly announced in the linked team records.

4. Franchise history and timeline

The franchise began as Arkansas Matrix in 2023. July 10, 2026 reporting documented its relocation to the Washington, DC metropolitan area ahead of the 2026 season. The earlier name is historical, not a separate current team. Source ↗

7. Partnerships and what to watch on court

When watching DC Matrix, follow a documented pairing’s coverage of the middle and movement to the net. The preferred-side labels provide context; they do not establish handedness or a permanent starting role.

Compare the division, opponent and format alongside the score. A deciding match tiebreak differs from a normal set; the linked match center supplies the event context.

8. Sponsors, partners and the franchise business

No current local partnership has been promoted to this guide without a verifiable operational announcement. Relocation plans for exhibitions and sponsors are distinguished from confirmed facilities.

9. Home city, facilities and local padel

For a Washington-area supporter, the first distinction is between following DC Matrix and booking a local court. The franchise represents the metropolitan market; the 2026 PPL schedule takes its teams to tournament locations across North America. None of the reviewed fixture dates establishes a public DC home ground. Planning to see the team in person therefore starts with the league calendar and the event organizer’s venue information, rather than the franchise name alone.

The relocation reporting describes ambitions for exhibitions and league activity in the area. Those are useful signals of intent, but they are not current booking listings. Before organizing a club visit, group outing or beginner session around the team, look for a named host, an announced date and a direct registration route. A future partnership could give local players a concrete connection to the franchise; until then, the team’s social channel is a place to watch for announcements, not a substitute for a facility’s booking confirmation.

Major League Padel has not added a nearby club card to this guide without a sourced, live directory record. That gap is an invitation for local operators to submit a complete page with address, court details, photographs and booking links for review. New players can use the beginner and scoring guides while locating a verified facility. Keeping professional coverage and practical club discovery connected in this way gives the Washington audience a path from watching elite doubles to arranging its own game, without inventing a training address.

10. Official channels, merchandise, tickets and contact

Follow DC Matrix through the verified official routes below. Obtain tickets through the current tournament organizer and official merchandise through an identified team store.

Major League Padel merchandise is separate from franchise merchandise. Public business contact information does not establish court access.

Are these results live?

No. They are dated historical outcomes from official event or match records. The upcoming calendar is labeled relative to the October 7, 2026 review.

Does a roster card guarantee a player will appear?

No. A published roster is distinct from an event draw. Confirm the pairing and actual appearance through the official match center or dated result.

How do I follow official announcements?

Use the league profile and verified team Instagram link in the fan-information chapter. A standalone website is linked only when its identity and access were checked.

Why is older coverage about Arkansas Matrix relevant?

DC Matrix continues the relocated franchise. Arkansas material belongs in the historical timeline; it does not establish a current Washington address.

Can I submit a correction or add a local club?

Use Major League Padel’s corrections page for factual updates. Club operators can use Add Your Club, confirm their email and submit a complete facility profile for editorial review. A listing does not imply team affiliation.
