Los Angeles Beat

2026 SeasonUpdated 2026-10-08

Los Angeles Beat brings pro padel to LA with a roster featuring Leonel “Tolito” Aguirre, Aranzazu Osoro Ulrich and Victoria Iglesias Segador. Iglesias and Osoro earned women’s bronze at the 2026 New York opener, while the league’s August visit to Barker Hangar put the sport on a hometown stage. The Beat’s eight-player squad spans the main PPL competition and PPL II.

LA’s team, from the New York podium to a hometown stage

The Beat opened its 2026 season with a women’s podium finish in New York. Victoria Iglesias Segador and Aranzazu Osoro Ulrich took third place, giving LA an early result to build on. Alongside them, Julia Polo Bautista completes the women’s main-league roster; Leonel “Tolito” Aguirre, Antonio Fernandez Cano and Denis Tomas Perino make up the men’s group. Source 1 ↗ Source 2 ↗

August brought the main PPL tour to Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The event gave Los Angeles supporters a chance to watch the league in their own market, while PPL II played its separate competition at Padel Up in Culver City. Jacobo Blanco and Luis Estrada are the Beat’s PPL II players. Source 1 ↗ Source 2 ↗

The franchise’s identity also draws on the city beyond the court. Its October 2025 rebrand, developed with The Working Assembly, connected the Beat’s look to LA’s music, streetwear and creative culture. That gives the team a local identity as it competes across the league’s North American tour. Source ↗

7. Partnerships and what to watch on court

When watching Los Angeles Beat, follow a documented pairing’s coverage of the middle and movement to the net. The preferred-side labels provide context; they do not establish handedness or a permanent starting role.

Compare the division, opponent and format alongside the score. A deciding match tiebreak differs from a normal set; the linked match center supplies the event context.

8. Sponsors, partners and the franchise business

The league lists Atlas (credit card), Born (apparel and lifestyle), Eight Sleep (recovery) and Los Angeles Padel Club (home court and club). These are partner categories, not ownership claims. Source ↗

9. Home city, facilities and local padel

For a Los Angeles supporter, the 2026 event demonstrates how professional padel can occupy a recognizable local event space while remaining part of a travelling competition. Barker Hangar identifies the August tournament location, not the team’s year-round training address. A reader planning the next visit should use the new event announcement rather than assume the same venue, ticket conditions or dates will recur.

The Beat’s official profile names Los Angeles Padel Club as its home-court and club partner. At this review, the linked partner site offered only a Coming Soon page. That supports reporting the named relationship, but it does not support telling a beginner that a court is available to book today. Before adding a directory card, Major League Padel needs an operator-confirmed location, facilities and visitor route. A partnership can be genuine while its practical public information remains incomplete.

For someone moving from professional interest to playing locally, that practical information is the priority: court setting, rental equipment, lessons, organized sessions and reservation conditions. The Add Your Club flow allows an operator to submit those details with pictures and a logo for review. Meanwhile, the Beat guide connects fans with source-backed roster information and Major League Padel learning resources. Confirm a club’s address and booking options directly before planning a visit.

10. Official channels, merchandise, tickets and contact
